Prototyping

User Experience Design

In our view on ux-design, prototypes are everything. From the first sketches via wireframes up to high-fidelity prototypes. Prototypes are the way to detect user experience requirements as early as possible.

Prototypes allow us to solve mistakes and omissions before they require additional design or development efforts. Or, worse, before they cost you customers. Prototyping lets us fail sooner to succeed faster.

We develop prototypes in our own Informaat Prototyping Environment. IPE enables fast and efficient iterative development. Hence, living personas, users and other stakeholders are presented realistic prototypes throughout the complete design cycle.

IPE is part of an advanced ux-design workbench with continuously evolving pattern and component libraries. The workbench also provides facilities for recording procedures and schedules, design decisions and templates. In other words, when we're done with the ux-design project, not only you will have a high-fidelity prototype, but there will also be a solid basis for subsequent design projects.
