We have a distinctive view of the steps needed to achieve successful applications. Nevertheless we also acknowledge that each situation is unique — has its particular opportunities and restrictions. Therefore we adjust our approach to your processes and organization.

Our approach starts with investigating and analyzing the existing situation, your goals, ambitions and restrictions. To obtain a clear and shared view on the target users, we develop personas and scenarios.

In the definition stage we develop an overall concept. We employ style studies, wireframes and mockups to establish the fundamental characteristics of the application. We determine which dialogs with the user the application has to support as well as their structure and navigation. In a 360° ux-discovery we find out which aspects will contribute most to the optimal user experience.

In the design stage we develop, in a number of iterations, a comprehensive high-fidelity prototype of the application. The prototype is tested repeatedly against the experiences of living personas and users to achieve the optimum user experience.

Specification. The prototype acts as the primary requirements document for the engineers. Depending on the methods and techniques used by the engineers, formal specifications complete the prototype.

The end result of our effort is a translation of your ideas and ambitions into a high-fidelity prototype, consequently designed and tested with the user experience in mind.
