ABN AMRO

For ABN AMRO Bank, a global banking group for business and private clients, Informaat delivered various web applications. For example the Dutch internet portal for clients in the Netherlands. The ABN AMRO project portfolio also includes various interactive sites and web-form interfaces for specific target audiences.
A recent example is the visual and interaction design for a dedicated ABN AMRO community site for entrepreneurs in the small-to-medium size market (SME).

Informaat also supported ABN AMRO Bank to integrate user experience design as key discipline in the organization's internal development process. We initiated the UX‑Studio, a special business department that will provide user experience design for a large number of projects. Informaat defined a user experience design methodology for the UX-Studio and integrated the methodology in ABN AMRO's existing business and ICT development processes. Secondly, Informaat set up a prototyping environment with reusable templates and components that enables designers to develop high-fidelity prototypes quickly and efficiently. Finally Informaat recruited and trained interaction designers and web editors for ABN AMRO's UX-Studio. The UX-Studio is now a fully functional internal team within the ABN AMRO development organization.

Be Informed

Be Informed, is an ICT solutions provider for knowledge-intensive processes and organizations. Its high-end technical solutions can be used to disclose complex legal and regulatory information.

One of the Be Informed showcases is the National Portal for Environmental Permits that will be released in 2008: a single web portal powered by multiple Dutch government agencies, to apply for permits in the area of construction, environment and spatial planning. The website includes public and restricted areas to support all persons involved with requesting, assessing, and granting official permits.
Informaat designed the user interface of the Be Informed tool set as well as various customer sites.

Centraal Beheer Achmea

Informaat has been involved with the design and evolution of the corporate website for Centraal Beheer since 2000. By now this website has evolved to a site of considerable dimensions covering various market segments and audiences. At present Informaat supports Centraal Beheer with a complete makeover that will include several innovative features. The site will enable customers to receive direct and personal advice and the ability to deal with their personal insurance affairs directly.

Informaat is currently involved designing the application concept and information architecture. Interaction design and visual design are under development using interactive prototypes. 

Consul

Consul is a Dutch software development organization that develops special software to monitor network access and usage.

Informaat redesigned the user interface of the software to transform the feature-rich product into an application that also provides an attractive and easy-to-understand application.

When Consul was acquired by IBM Corporation, its products were integrated into IBM's Tivoli suite.

Eneco

Eneco is a leading energy company in the Netherlands. Eneco is redesigning its corporate website into a comprehensive full-service site that is to support the entire customer life cycle from first orientation up to tailored energy-saving advice. The goal is to enable corporate as well as private customers to manage their energy affairs on their own, without losing personal contact.

Informaat is responsible for translating the business goals into application concepts and detailed designs. Interaction designs and visual designs are developed and tested through high-fidelity interactive prototypes. 

Essent @Home

Essent @Home is a service provider for internet-, television and telephone services. Essent is designing a new website to disclose the entire product portfolio via one central portal that will replace multiple service-specific sites. The new portal solution will include information, entertainment and e-commerce modules.

Informaat is involved with the entire project life cycle: from concept development and design up to fine-tuning the website based on web statistics and usage data. 

InfoRay

InfoRay is a software company developing Business Intelligence software. InfoRay's tool suite includes, amongst other, InfoRay Architect, a tool to visualize business process data. And InfoRay Vision, a powerful browser to retrieve meaningful information from different databases.

Informaat provided the design team responsible for the user interface and visual designs for all InfoRay products.

Informaat was also involved with the development of the online help systems for MS Windows and web-based versions of the software.

Kluwer

Kluwer is a Dutch publishing company that specializes in publications for professionals in legal, tax and management areas. Informaat was involved in various Kluwer projects.

One project was geared at solutions for web-based previews and subscription to (online) publications via the corporate website www.kluwer.nl. Informaat redesigned the corporate website using an iterative approach.

Kluwer Knowledge portals allow commercial customers to assemble custom content sets and disclose them through their own intranet.

The 'desk' is an innovative publishing solution integrating both online and traditional media. This concept was customized for different market segments.

Informaat participated in concept development, interaction design, visual design and front-end development. Informaat also developed a set of reusable components that allow for rapid prototyping of new online products.
